Tours & Day Hikes

I spent a week with Peruvian Andes Adventures staying at their hostel and walking each day with a guide, sometimes on my own and sometimes as part of a group. I wanted to sample their day treks and see some of the more scenic areas within reach of Huaraz. I had a fantastic week . The scenery and mountains were unforgettable –definitely worth coming back for more . The day trips take you right in among some of the highest mountains in Peru [and in S America] including Huascaran and left me awe struck with the rugged beauty of the area –Scotland will never be quite the same again !Finally a word about Eli Morales and the other staff including the guides. This is a family business and runs efficiently and courteously. I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism, reliability, friendliness and willingness to impart local knowledge. Not to mention Eli’s invaluable help when problems cropped up with my flight back from Alta to Lima
